- The character of Aidan's name on Being Human US is an explicit tribute to Aidan Turner, who plays Mitchell on Being Human UK.
- The Being Human UK pilot featured an almost entirely different cast than the main series (with the exception of Russell Tovey as George).
- Being Human UK writer Toby Whithouse has also written for Doctor Who.
